IMAGE 3: Crested Serpent eagle:
Site: Keoladeo bird Sanctuary (a World Heritage site), Bharatpur, Rajasthan
This photograph shows the top of the food chain. In Nature, one’s death is a celebration of another. The crested Serpent eagle is a bird of prey that mainly hunts snakes and water monitor lizards. I was lucky to witness the entire sequence of killing and feeding on the snake. The eagle’s fierce looks add rawness to the image.
IMAGE 4: Deer fawn:
Site: Keoladeo bird Sanctuary (a World Heritage site), Bharatpur, Rajasthan
The jumping fawn was captured in the golden hours. Very difficult image to capture as proper timing with a bit of luck is needed. The golden rim light around the body and golden water drops bokeh in the foreground add beauty to the photograph.
