The autumn issue of IRA newsletter highlights the interplay between infection, autoimmunity and its’ implications in the management of Rheumatic diseases. This issue is curated by my colleagues Dr Kasturi Hazarika from Guwahati and Dr Abhishek G P from Bengaluru.

We hope the topic in focus addresses and encourage thoughts and application in your routine practice. Highlights from the vision of Karnataka Rheumatology Association takes the stage in this issue with Nizams Institute being the focus in the Rheum roots section. Insights from trainees regarding laboratory experiences, Rheum riddles  and interesting case discussion completes this issue.
