Dear esteemed members,

I am delighted to bring this edition of the IRA eNewsLetter to you.

In this last issue of my tenure as the Editor-in-Chief of the IRA eNewsLetter, Dr Madhuri HR and Dr Upendra Rathore have curated a collector’s volume with an exciting range of topics with contributors ranging from the doyens and experts from Indian rheumatology to our extremely talented younger members.

When I commenced my 3-year tenure back in January 2023, I defined my vision for it as “Be innovative and think of life more and science less” and its mission as “Work together but take the lead and initiatives and execute and try involving local/regional younger colleagues as much as possible”.

Looking back, I feel happy and proud that my editorial board of 15 dynamic young colleagues from across India not only delivered that brief but also went beyond and showcased tremendous innovation and remarkable ingenuity.

I welcome Prof. R Subramanian from Mysuru as the new Editor-in-Chief of this eNewsLetter. I am confident that with him at the helm, the eNewsLetter would see more engaging and exciting content and achieve greater heights.

Please help us take this newsletter to as many as possible through our social media channels (TwitterFacebookLinkedIn, and YouTube).

I would like to thank the IRA for giving me this opportunity. I appreciate the constructive feedback and appreciation received from you all over the years.

Please continue to share your feedback and suggestions at  iraenewsletter@gmail.com

Best wishes

Prof. Vinod Ravindran MD, CCT-Rheumatology (UK), FRCP
